I (14F) was at a horse show and saw my crushes mom, she said maybe we could all have dinner together after the show. I was then at home and we were waiting for our close friends to come drop something off at our house. The one boy (16M) i kind of like, kept asking me questions like my favorite color, birthday and other strange random things. His family then left. Next thing i remember was eating in a small restaurant with the boy i kind of like and his whole family. the kids were at one table and adults at another. He then said he needed to get something and walked away. he was gone about 5 minutes then came back holding a sign and card. The sign said something about horses and country music, two things i really enjoy. I read the sign slowly and then he said "will you go to prom with me?" I *almost* cried and i never really cry. I said yes and squealed with excitement and hugged him over the shoulders. my VERY strict parents saw all of this and apparently ok with it. After i said yes i relised having dinner with my crushes family was on the same day as prom. i was really sad but couldn't back out for prom. the last thing i remember was slow dancing with my head on his chest
